To All the Respected Members,
I have observed that there has been positive & negative voting since yesterday evening. I would request the fellow members to objectively go through the presentation and vote.
This is to reinforce that the presentation is for a cause which is much bigger than winning or losing.
Request your advice.
Thanks and Regards,

What is needed now are increased efforts to promote youth participation and commitment; more services aimed at youth; more education and information, using schools and other sites; more protection for girls, orphaned children and young women;and more partnerships with people with HIV and AIDS. Thanks, this has really touched me a lot.
Abhishekshah, have you digg your presentation? This one is my personal fav till now.....My vote is in your favor. -

Our culture has so much of negativity built up not only against AIDS but some catageous diseases that you must translate this in all Indian languages. This is for learned(?) and having access to internet. You have accepted a mamoth challenge and take approach of educating us to take it further down the line.

guestfb584a said 4 months Edit DeleteBest of Luck Abhishek. Well Done. Spreading Awareness is a great step forward... Rest is upto government and private agencies to action upon. You may probably add that the Schools and Colleges are the best places to spread awareness in a mass scale and each student can become an ambassador to spread awareness in every society.

Thanks for your valuable comments Adoinstro.

I'm curious as to how this presentation relates to all of the groups/events listed on the right. Imagine if you Googled a topic and everything known to man came up. Granted, AIDS is everyone's problem and concern, I agree, but as someone who uses this site professionally, I don't understand listing it with everything possible as opposed to those that most directly apply. I have not seen this with other presentations.

ashutoshsingh said 4 months Edit DeleteAbhishek, I think you have raised a very important issue in front of all. Would urge the people who have read or reading this presentation to focus on children whose lives have been devastated by AIDS. The millions of children who are missing their parents; their childhood, their future but most importantly, they are missing YOU. Everyone can make a real difference. Your voice is needed in a global movement that can change their world. Share Abhishek’s work with your friends. Good show buddy!

paulgraham said 5 months Edit DeleteI agree with Hydeia, Children who have lost parents to HIV/AIDS are not only just as deserving of an education as any other children, but they may need that education even more. Being part of a school environment will prepare them for the future, while helping to remove the stigma and discrimination unfortunately associated with AIDS. How the hell we can discriminate them?
Abhishek, a good topic and an equally good presentation. Wish you luck for the contest. I will refer your presentation to few of my friends too. -

richstearns said 5 months Edit DeleteCan we watch one-quarter of some countries' people die? Can 27 million orphans be left to fend for themselves? We may not be able to solve the entire problem today, but let us not be discouraged from taking the steps necessary to begin the journey. Thanks Abhishek.

michellepfeiffer said 5 months Edit Delete
In all the presentations among the top 30 no one has dare to choose Aids as a topic. The way you have explained the entire thing in such simple words speaks a lot about the issue in front of us. I come from Zimbabwe where I see these things in front of my eyes.
From a design prospective, I can rest assure that the pictures are nice and can beautifully relate to the content inside. The presentation as an overall package is worth winning the contest. Wish you good luck. You are a winner to me! -

Well done Abhi, this is a big UP !!!!! God bless you !

Although there are numerous factors in the spread of HIV/AIDS, it is largely recognised as a disease of poverty, hitting hardest where people are marginalised and suffering economic hardship. Your PPS has displayed this issue in its full ugliness and one hopes it could be a useful tool to help raise the issue of education on Aids to the highest level, especially in developing countries. Voted UP
